Juventus officials are heading to London this week to finalize a loan agreement with Chelsea’s striker, Romelu Lukaku.
According to Calciomercato, Cristiano Giuntoli, the director, will temporarily leave Juventus’ pre-season tour in the United States to meet with Chelsea’s top management.
The negotiations are expected to proceed smoothly as all parties are keen on reaching a swift deal.
Romelu Lukaku spent the previous season on loan at Inter Milan, a fierce rival of Juventus, and managed to score 14 goals across all competitions.
Although Lukaku is currently under contract with Chelsea until 2026, Juventus is facing financial challenges, making a permanent transfer unfeasible.
Once the 30-year-old Belgian forward agrees to the terms offered by Juventus, the Serie A giants will focus on selling Dusan Vlahovic.
Juve is determined to raise funds this summer, particularly after failing to qualify for the upcoming Champions League season.
In the race for Dusan Vlahovic, Paris Saint-Germain is leading the way.
